Florida TikTok Creator Jailed Over Alleged Exposure of Women’s Private Data

News EditorBy News EditorOctober 4, 2026 U.S. News 5 Mins Read

Mark Stephen Asea, a Florida TikTok creator who describes himself as a demonologist and “Grey Hat Hacker,” is facing a felony computer-access charge after allegedly posting women’s private information online. Investigators say one woman’s data appeared in more than 100 TikTok videos, while another alleged that a private image surfaced after she gave Asea remote access to her computer. Asea was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on September 30, 2026, with bond set at $35,000. The case follows an earlier arrest and a subsequent decision by prosecutors to reopen the criminal investigation.

Arrest follows reopened computer-access case

Asea, 36, of Port St. Lucie, was booked at the St. Lucie County Jail on September 30 on a felony charge alleging an offense against computer users. The charge concerns alleged unauthorized access to a computer or electronic device. Sheriff’s office records list his bond at $35,000.

The arrest revived a criminal matter that had changed course several times. Asea was initially arrested in April on stalking and computer-related allegations, but prosecutors dropped those charges in May. The current computer-access charge was filed in September after prosecutors reopened the case. Available court records do not explain why the earlier charges were dropped or what led to the renewed prosecution.

Woman alleges private account information was exposed

According to a police affidavit, one woman told investigators that Asea published details about her devices, spending and other personal information in TikTok content. She had shared a password in a closed TikTok group chat and said Asea was not a member, although she suspected he may have entered through a false account.

A detective reviewed a video in which Asea allegedly referred to the woman’s password and recent online purchases. The affidavit records him saying:

“Let’s talk about your actual password. How about we talk about the last 10 purchases you made online?”

The woman said no one in the private group had permission to distribute the information. She also told police she did not know how Asea could have obtained her phone identification number or banking information.

Remote computer access becomes central to allegations

A second woman described a separate sequence involving technical assistance. She told investigators that she permitted Asea to access her computer remotely in October 2025 to troubleshoot an application. She later alleged that he claimed he had installed a virus while she was away from the computer, giving him the ability to view information without her knowledge or authorization.

The woman also said a photograph from a private Telegram message on her phone later appeared in one of Asea’s TikTok posts. Asea allegedly claimed in a comment that the image came from a WhatsApp exchange. Investigators received a screenshot that the woman said showed the photograph in a Telegram conversation, according to the affidavit.

Investigators document alleged location-tracking claims

Police also documented statements in which Asea appeared to claim that he could determine the woman’s location through her phone. In one video cited by investigators, he allegedly referred to the device’s GPS capability:

“Thanks to the GPS within her phone, but what did I do?”

Investigators said the alleged online activity continued over time. More than 100 TikTok videos reportedly mentioned one woman, with as many as six videos posted in a single day. Asea also allegedly obtained a website where he posted a photograph of the woman receiving a tattoo.

His social media biography has described him with labels including “Demonologist,” “Clairsentient,” “Empath,” “PTSD,” “Grey Hat Hacker” and “Woodsman.” An earlier affidavit identified a different biography that included “former satanist” and “cybersecurity engineer.”

Arraignment is scheduled for November

The criminal case is proceeding separately from a civil stalking-protection matter filed during the summer. A woman obtained a temporary injunction in July, but a judge dissolved it and dismissed the case on September 8. Prosecutors reopened the criminal case on September 24 and filed the current computer-access charge.

Asea is scheduled to be arraigned on November 19. The allegations remain claims in court, and the available records do not establish whether the reported online material was obtained through unauthorized access or how each item was acquired.
